Dr. Joe Banks, DO

Dr. Joe Banks is currently the Associate Medical Director of Primary Care and Family Medicine Physician for Adult and Child Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr Banks is Board Certified in Family Medicine with his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and NYCOM in New York City at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica Queens, New York. Dr. Banks has worked as a primary care physician in outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as multiple administrative positions during his residence in Indiana since 2008. Dr. Banks was trained and certified in Esthetic Dermatological Procedures through the Esthetic Skin Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Paul Mattox, PA-C

Paul Mattox has 20 years of experience as a physician assistant in various settings, including men's and women's HRT, BHRT, TRT, orthopedics, and emergency medicine, and five years of experience running a clinic specializing in male hormone replacement. He has also completed advanced training in injectables, fillers, and PDO threads.

Kristen Mattox, PhD, MSN, RN, CNE

Kristen Mattox is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing at Indiana University, Bloomington, and has worked in the nursing field for over 17 years.

Shelby Harris, BSN, RN

Shelby Harris, RN, BSN, graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Along with being a part of our team, she is an RN Shift Coordinator within a large local hospital system.

Not only was she trained as a nurse, but she has also continued her phlebotomy work in an occupational health setting. She will be doing lab draws for all of our patient treatments offered at Vigor Health and Beauty. She will also be assisting Paul with his in-office procedures.

Shelby has an interest in expanding her knowledge of aesthetics, and we look forward to helping her take the next step to becoming a nurse injector.

Look to the schedule, as we will be able to increase our availability for blood draw services.

Brittany Conner, BSN, RN

Brittany Conner, RN, BSN, graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She comes to us with 18 years of experience and has worked in a variety of areas, including medical-surgical, postpartum, geriatrics, and rehabilitation. She is currently a patient care coordinator at Community South Hospital and has been for the last nine years.

Brittany has always had a passion for beauty and skincare and is excited to share her passion with others at Vigor to help people feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. Brittany looks forward to extending her training along Vigor as they grow in business.

Shelby Hosmer, BS, CCA

Shelby Hosmer is our Medical Office Manager. She graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2017 with a degree in Healthcare Administration and a minor in Law and Public Policy. She is a recent graduate of the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering's Medical Coding Certification program at Indiana University, Indianapolis.

Shelby is a Certified Coding Associate through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

Shelby is here to answer any questions or concerns you have regarding appointment scheduling, billing, lab work/results, prescription refills, and electronic health record information.

Ashley Compton, M.Ed

Ashley Compton is Vigor Health and Beauty's social media manager. Ashley runs Vigor's website, blog Invigorating Thoughts, and social media accounts.

Ashley is a wife, mom, and big sister. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and has a master's degree in educational leadership and administration from Indiana University.

Ashley's day job is in public education administration. However, in her spare time, Ashley enjoys creating and sharing health and wellness content on behalf of Vigor Health and Beauty.
